Caramel and Montarey Drive
We had plan to visit Queen Wilhelmina garden which is part of the Golden gate park to catch Tulip bloom ,but i changed my mind and we headed towards Carmel for a drive .I wanted to visit the Montarey sand dunes for quite some time,but never figured out how to get there.Finally we figured out a way to get to the sand dunes ,though we had to Tress pass private property for the same !!After that we spent some time in borders to catch a drink and flipped through few photo books on Big Sur .After that we headed towards Carmel Beach City Park ,such a lovely beach .One of the cleanest beach in Bay area ,love the turquoise blue water here .Played for some time in water .I was watching the waves and people and dog playing while Vasu was catching some sleep with a Nap.We headed towards Carmel down town shopping area afterward , but most thee of the shops were closed already .Had dinner at Cicero's pizza in San jose .To me pizza means pretty much this place in bay area and the only other place i would eat pizza is New york .

A fling with the Spring
Thanks to the march madness we were not taking advantage of the spring lately !
So finally we came up with this plan to go for a drive to Davenport for a beach therapy .
Davenport is lovely city 10 miles drive from Santa Cruz , has a small town feel to it , a refreshing break from the crowded bay area . We made a plan to visit Panther beach ,wall beach and go for strawberry picking .We ended up visiting other places but not these .The worst part was the the beaches were not marked , so it was kind of difficult to identify them .Nevertheless we had fun , we visited this beach called Shark fin beach , such a lovely place it was .There was a high surf warning on the Pacific coast . The shark fin beach is kind of rocky beach , the waves were creating dramatic effect against the rocks .
There were literally few hundreds of surfers on the Santa Cruz boardwalk beach .It was fun watching them .
On our way back had our dinner at Siam Thai in Santana row and food was just wow .
