We visited this place called Kirby cove yesterday near Marin headlands .
This place a about a mile hike down from the Marin headlands . We were supposed to visit this place two months back when we went to Marin headlands.It was supposed to be a surprise for me (did i tell u i love surprises hehe..).But we couldn't visit it last time , we were stuck in traffic for 4 hours .. phew ...didn't knew about the Blue Angles show in SFO !!! Since the place is quite tricky to find , there is just one on the sign Conzelman Road ,if you miss that you miss this place and GPS is not much of an help here .I quite wanted to see this place since then, loved it on flicker and here in this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwY67LYzH7Q, US Marines commercial at 1:14 onwards.
The hike download was quite a breeze .Loved the place.
This place is usually not too crowded ,in fact were the only one there when we reached the beach .It was like our own private island !!! We sent around 3 hours there ,had our lunch ,played a bit on the beach .I would love to camp at this place if I happen to overcome my fear of Coyotes and if i do get a reservation .Yelpers say the best site requires a 6 month ahead reservation. Btw did i tell you that i saw a Coyote right in the middle of the road on US-101, I am sure it wasn't a dog or something,a quick search on the google images confirms it !!!
