We went for a walk around the down town and then headed towards this restaurant and guess what it was closed !!!!!Gosh i was so disappointed ..... Finally had food at a Mediterranean resturant which we found though yelp ..... The day wasn't going as I thought it would be ..... boring down town,mediocre food .. thats when Vasu wanted to take me to this place called Twin peaks in SFO ..... and the FUN begins..... during a drive Vasu dedicated me this song on the local radio.
This place has a amazing view of the entire SFO downtown ..check out the picture below .
Btw the dress i wore ,is designed be me ,wanted to make Masakalli kind of kurti which kind of went wrong !!!! Vasu loved it anyways ,how on the earth he wont like ,a blue/white (being his fav colors) outfit :) .... Here is a small story about the inspiration behind this dress .During my Valentine shopping spree , i happened to come across these cute blue/brown sandals ,sitting on the shelves waiting for me !!!! They are right now "my favorite pair of shoes" ever ,such cute little babies they are !!!! My shoes fetish has been on a all time high right now .... have been getting a pair every week, for almost two months now ...... Those babies will totally rock with a blue outfit but i happened to have nothing in my wardrobe . Didn't find anything of my liking in the stores either , so decided to design one myself . Though i didnt wear those shoes they are gladiators and would'nt go with jeans and it isn't still warm enough to wear capris.
I did quite some shopping all on the name of Valentines day :) ...got a awesome summer dress,few earrings, over sized rings [i am into them big time rigth now:) ]and few other jwellary ,two skirts ,another pair of sandals ,almost dozen lipsticks and glosses i picked up at MAC,Macys and Sephora and few other random things .I also got this awesome super cute, chunky Jadau necklace . I ordered it online and I am still waiting for this baby . Gosh .. i can keep writing pages and pages on clothes ,shoes ,basically all things girls love :) .... In fact i thought of posting pics of the above mentioned things here ..lol .. guess ..thats anything but this blog is about !!!! Anyway let me know if anyone is interested , i would love to do that :) .....Phew .. Had a tough time controlling my Feminine instincts ,still ended up with so much .. lol
After twin peaks Vasu took me to this place in Livermore called Del Valle lake .The drive to the place was awesome not the place itself .Paid a quick visit to the Livermore temple on our way back home .Here is another lovely capture by Vasu .
