This is one of my favorite pictures from the entire trip , the image has been cut by the image uploader .‬
‪During the drive from Jaisalmer back to Jodhpur ,we came across this huge herd of camels .The herd was taken care of ,by‬
‪a group of kids .There was this old man who was the in charge[manager ?‬ ‪] of the group . of the All the camels were she-camels domesticated for there‬milk, wool and breeding purpose.the camel milk is supposed to be very nutritious and high in protein .We were so excited to see the herd , the kids were equally excited and curious to see us .Taking advantage of the situation was this baby camel who ran to his mama for some milk .The baby camel was shooed away by the old man and then he started milking the camel. He then gave it to the girl in the picture below .This girl was the youngest one in the group .The old man wanted to know what am I going do with the pictures which I was taking . I was quite unprepared for the question , to which i replied "apne sherhr mein dosto ko dikhayenge yeh " ..
After the little girl finished drinking the milk, her elder sister took the bowl from her and cleaned it with sand(no water ),that was so amazing the bowl was literally squeaky clean .

Jaisalmer is also known as golden city .Jaisalmer Fort is the largest inhabited forts in the world. The fort is not just historic monument but actually inhabited too. How cool is that ,historic monument for a house ,I was so thrilled about this whole concept . We actually caught hold of few locals and enquired about how much a haveli will cost .. haha .. This picture was taken in a haveli called patwon ki haveli.

I kept following the women for the perfect shot .She is a sweeper at the Jaisalmer temple , the rich hues for her dress were
a perfect contrast against the golden walls of the temple .

Carmel-by-the-Sea..

Spent a beautiful saturday in Carmal by the sea . I was literally dying to go to this place
ever since I returned from India . Saturday morning and i couldn't wait to go there as soon as possible .
Off i went to kitchen to make a lovely breakfast ,the not so perfect doses to go with perfect coconut chutney ….
a battle of my unruly hair ,setting up the sewing machine to make a imperfect dress perfect !!!and checking on vasu, every 10 mins ,to see if he is up .Ahh he looks so darn adorable while sleeping
just don't feel like waking him up , he might as well be in the middle of perfect dream (about me ? lol ) . Quarter past 10 and we were on our way to Carmel , unobvious of fact that the best weather ever in Carmel was awaiting us . Once in Carmel we decided to roam around the ocean avenue offering one of the most unique shopping experience in bay area with its stone paved alleyways and a French country side feel to it and off i went to one of my favorite stores ever !!! ahhh ….. felt like a home away from home .. lol ….. spotted this really awesome bedroom set up there and told Vasu how much i loved that wanted to do something like that in our bedroom . Then off I went to explore the wonderland of textures ,dreamy drapes, happy ruffles ,whimsical prints ,quirky style ,artsy elegance while Vasu found himself some comfortable seating and a nice book :) .
When i was back Vasu told me that there was a little 5 years old there some time back who wanted that very same bedding and everything around it as a Birthday gift from her grandfather :) .After that we hopped on to the beach only to find that it was too hot and returned back to ocean avenue . Then stumbled upon this store oh my … there they had all the shoes which are in my wishlist and waiting my "save for list " /cart .. haha …Then wewent for a little drive around and then to the beach spent the rest of time there till sunset wave watching and dog watching . Once in a while these little fella kept coming to us .Finished the day with some good Italian food .
Here is a model shot of what i wore and did i mention that i received quite a few compliments on my dress .
